Angela Lee is on weight and ready to weigh in. This is definitely not your average weigh in photo but then she is not your average fighter.
The 25 year old took to Facebook to share a photo of her posing with her one year old daughter:
Lee will be defending her atomweight title against Stamp Fairtex in the main event of ONE: ‘X’ tomorrow. She travelled to Singapore with her baby daughter.
Just to put that into context she is going to be facing an elite atomweight in a five round title fight tomorrow, has to make weight today, is coming off a long training camp and is dealing with all this while looking after a one year old.
If anyone has tried taking care of a year old baby they will know that it isn’t an easy task at the best of times. Combine that with all the other tasks Lee is dealing with and her workload starts to look mindblowing!
Can she successfully juggle her duties as a fighter and a mother and make a successful comeback after over two years away from the cage? It is a massive challenge but if anyone can do it Angela can!
