A strawweight fight between Ayaka Miura and Meng Bo has been added to the ONE Fight Night 16 card. The two will face off at Lumpinee Stadium on November 4th.
Bo (21-6) signed for ONE Championship as an atomweight but moved up a division and is coming off back to back victories. She is one of just a handful of fighters to have beaten reigning UFC strawweight champion Weili Zhang.
Miura (11-5) has already challenged for the strawweight title once. She has lost three out of her last four in MMA and is coming off a defeat to Danielle Kelly in a submission grappling bout.

Champions collide
As previously announced Fabricio Andrade and Jonathan Haggerty will now be facing off at ONE Fight Night 16. The fight had originally been scheduled for next month but has been postponed until November.
Andrade and Haggerty were booked to headline ONE Fight Night 15. No reason has been given for the postponement although both fighters have made it clear that the delay wasn’t on their end.
The belt is vacant because former champion Petchtanong Banchamek was stripped of the title after failing a drug test. Both Andrade and Haggerty were crowned as champions in different sports earlier this year.
Andrade won the bantamweight MMA belt after stopping John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 6. He has yet to defend that title but has plenty of kickboxing experience and fought ten times for Kunlun Fight.
Haggerty became the bantamweight Muay Thai champion when he stopped Nong-O Gaiyanghadao at ONE Fight Night 6. He had previously held the flyweight belt but doesn’t appear to have any kickboxing experience.

Strawweight rematch
Lito Adiwang and Jeremy Miado will rematch at ONE Fight Night 16. The two Filipinos will face off for the second time at Lumpinee Stadium next month.
Adiwang and Miado first fought at ONE: ‘X’ last year. The former suffered a serious knee injury and was unable to continue but recently returned to action after successfully undergoing surgery on his torn ligaments.
Adiwang finished Adrian Mattheis in the opening round at ONE Friday Fights 34 last month. The Filipino has been rewarded with a fast turnaround and will be competing again in the same venue in November.
Miado (10-5) did not cause the knee injury which buckled the leg of Adiwang (14-5) during the first fight so the latter will be out of revenge. The former will be looking to get back on track after his loss to Mansur Malachiev at ONE Fight Night 11 in June.
Hard fight
Ahmed Mujtaba was last seen losing to Sage Northcutt at ONE Fight Night 10. The Pakistani has been handed another very hard fight and will be taking on Halil Amir at Lumpinee Stadium next month.
Last time out he took on a UFC veteran and at ONE Fight Night 16 he has been matched with an undefeated opponent. Amir has only been the distance once in his career.
Mujtaba has won four out of his seven ONE Championship fights and is probably the #1 pound for pound fighter from Pakistan at present. But he came up short against Northcutt, getting caught with a heel hook after just 39 seconds.
By contrast Amir has never tasted defeat. The Turkish fighter is coming off a decision win over Maurice Abévi at ONE Fight Night 9 in April.

Atomweights rebooked
The atomweight fight between Supergirl Jaroonsakgym and Cristina Morales has been rebooked for November 3rd. The two were booked to face off at ONE Fight Night 15 but the bout got pushed back.
Lara Fernández stepped in as a last minute replacement at ONE Fight Night 13. Supergirl best her by decision to get in the title mix at atomweight.
Morales was stopped by Anissa Meksen at ONE: ‘Empower’ in 2021 and has not fought since. It is not clear what the medical reason was that prevented her from fighting but the issue has obviously cleared up.

Running it back
Meanwhile the first fight between Sinsamut Klinmee and Liam Nolan was so good that matchmakers have decided to run it back. The two lightweights will meet for the second time in a Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 16.
Sinsamut has challenged twice for the lightweight Muay Thai title. On both occasions he has come up short against the seemingly unstoppable champion Regian Eersel.
The two men first met at ONE 159 with Sinsamut winning with a highlight reel KO. Nolan will be looking to avenge that defeat and, like his opponent, comes into this contest on the back of a victory.
