A bantamweight bout between Chaitanya Gavali and Angad Bisht has been added to Matrix Fight Night 8. The event is set for Delhi on April 1st.
Gavali (6-7) has fought in Malaysia, Thailand and China and holds a purple belt in BJJ. But he is on a dreadful run of form and has lost his last five fights.
Bisht (6-3) has never fought outside of India. But he is coming off a win over Chungreng Koren at Matrix Fight Night 7 and has won three out of his last five.
As previously announced Abdul Azim Badakhshi will be back in action at Matrix Fight Night 8. The Afghan featherweight is set to face Fabricio Oliveira in the main event.
Also in the featherweight division Dhruv Chaudhary has been matched with Sanjeet Budhwa. At lightweight Srikant Sekhar takes on Afghanistan’s Zahoor Shah.
