Angel’s FC 9 is set for Seoul on December 17th and will feature four title bouts and Korean giant Choi Hong-Man. The Pride veteran will be participating in a kickboxing match against an as of yet undisclosed opponent at the KBS Arena.

After a knockout loss in the Road FC cage Choi returned to kickboxing last year, beating Noboru Uchida by decision at AFC 5. He has faced the likes of Mirko Filipovic and Fedor Emelianenko but his  days of being a mixed martial artist seem to be over.

There are multiple titles on the line at AFC 9 with featherweight champion Moon Gi-Bum (8-4) facing former TFC 145lbs king Lee Min-Gu (6-4). The 29-year-old Moon is unblemished under the AFC banner and will be making the second defence of his belt.

In addition, ex-Heat heavyweight champion Lee Sang-Su (18-12-1) will try to take the openweight strap from newly-crowned champion Tilek Zheenbekov (5-2) while Kang Jung-Min (8-10-2) will clash with an undetermined adversary in a match that will enthrone the first lightweight king.

On top of all the MMA action, there will be a pivotal kickboxing match occurring on the same night.

Noh Jae-Gil, the AFC 70kgs (154lbs) kickboxing champion, is scheduled to defend his title against an opponent yet to be determined. The undefeated prospect has become the face of the organization after earning the championship strap at AFC 6 earlier this year and then defending it four months later.
