Choi Seung-Woo looks to be making his second trip into the octagon in the summer.

Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports announced via his Twitter account that Gavin Tucker (10-1) and Choi (7-2) have verbally agreed to meet in a featherweight bout at UFC 240.

The South Korean striker fell short in his promotional debut against Movsar Evloev at UFC St. Petersburg last month. Choi never was able to get his patented Muay Thai attack going due to the Russian’s wrestling based strategy and suffered a first career loss.

Tucker is also coming off a lopsided decision loss to Rick Glenn at UFC 215. The Canadian prospect was scheduled to make the drop to bantamweight to face Andre Soukhamthath last year but sustained an undisclosed injury and has been out of action for nearly two years.

UFC 240 is set to take place at the Rogers Place on July 27th in Edmonton. The card will be headlined by a featherweight title tilt between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar.

In addition, fans will see the return of Cris Cyborg against Canadian powerhouse Felicia Spencer in a featherweight co-main event.
