Christian Lee is set to move up to welterweight to challenge Kiamrian Abbasov for the title. That fight will headline ONE on Prime Video 4 which is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 18th.

That card had originally been scheduled to take place in Tokyo. But there appears to have been a change of plan and it will now take place in Singapore with reigning lightweight champion Lee looking to earn a second title.

Abbasov (23-5) recently moved up to middleweight to challenge Reinier de Ridder but was submitted by the Dutchman in the third round. That snapped a five fight winning streak for the 29 year old who remains the welterweight champion.

Lee (16-4) recently avenged his controversial split decision defeat to Ok Rae Yoon. The 24 year old has won seven out of his last eight fights and beaten every single fighter in the top four at lightweight.

Newly crowned

As previously announced Rodtang Jitmuangnon will be defending his flyweight Muay Thai title against Joseph Lasiri at ONE on Prime Video 4. The event is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 18th.

That card had originally been scheduled to take place in Tokyo. But there appears to have been a change of plan and it will now take place in Singapore with newly crowned strawweight Muay Thai champion Lasiri moving up in weight to challenge for a second belt.

Rodtang was scheduled to fight at ONE on Prime Video 1 but withdrew at the last minute. The reasons for this remain unclear and his opponent, Savvas Michael, accused him of not wanting to fight.

He has held the belt since 2019 and successfully defended it three times. Rodtang was booked to face Michael in the quarter final of the flyweight Muay Thai Grand Prix but has withdrawn from that tournament.

Not confirmed

Both Aung La Nsang and Yushin Okami confirmed that they would be facing one another at ONE on Amazon Prime 4 when the card was scheduled to take place in Tokyo. This fight will presumably go ahead in Singapore, unless there is another date set to be announced for Japan.

La Nsang is the former middleweight and light heavyweight champion and at one stage he was ONE Championship’s pound for pound king. But his stock has fallen after back to back defeats to Reinier de Ridder and the Burmese star is currently without a title.

But unlike Okami he has been active and has fought three times since the UFC veteran last stepped inside the ONE Championship cage. Meanwhile Okami is a legend in his own right having fought 21 times for the UFC and been in with the likes of Anderson Silva, Jake Shields, Rich Franklin, Chael Sonnen and Mark Munoz.

This fight has not been confirmed by the promotion but both fighters have posted on social media about it.

Prime time

The promotion recently signed a broadcast deal with Amazon Prime which will see cards streamed live on the platform every month for five years. The inaugural card last month was headlined by a flyweight title fight between Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson.

ONE on Prime Video 2 took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday morning last month. Xiong Jing Nan beat Angela Lee by decision in the main event.
