Cristiano Ronaldo has a message for Manny Pacquiao and he seems to think Cristiano Ronaldo is going to deliver it for him. The two were sat together at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh for the boxing last night.
As always McGregor had plenty to say for himself. Ronaldo didn’t always seem to appreciate the attention he was getting from the talkative Irishman and probably had no idea what was going on when the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion said,
“Tell Manny to grow a set of balls.”

Man or mouse
It seems that McGregor wants to fight Pacquiao but they can’t agree on a weight category. It is difficult to keep up with the Irishman’s flow of words amid all the ambient noise but according to his official website he also asked,
“Is he a man or a mouse?”
This was also in reference to Pacquiao. It is an interesting development because the Filipino signed with McGregor’s management company, Paradigm, in the hope of securing a boxing match with him.
That ended in a lawsuit. Paradigm could not deliver the boxing match in question and Pacquiao did not abide by the terms of the agreement, an American judge ordered him to pay $5.1 million USD for breaching his contract.

Testicular fortitude
During a career that saw him go toe to toe with the likes of Marco Antonio Barrera, Eric Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar de La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather no-one has ever questioned Pacquiao’s testicular fortitude before. The comments are unlikely to go down well in the Philippines.
Pacquiao did not compete at all in 2023. He has been in talks with numerous opponents about returning to the ring for an exhibition boxing match and is supposed to be facing Buakaw Banchamek in 2024.
A fight with McGregor would be far more lucrative. It is a matchup that Pacquiao has clearly pursued in the past and for fans who enjoy seeing former legends participate in exhibition boxing matches this could be one to watch.
