The Way of the Dragon 3 card has a new main event which pits a Korean champion against an undefeated Russian. The headliner on January 12th sees reigning Heat light heavyweight king Da Un Jung take on Abutalib Khalilov.

Jung (9-2) fights out of Korean Top Team but has been competing in Japan where he has won five fights out of five for Heat. Khalilov (4-0) has a perfect professional record but is coming off a long layoff, he hasn’t fought since 2015.

As previously announced Way of the Dragon 3 will feature TUF China alumni Rocky Lee and Bellator veteran Khai Wu. There are currently 12 fights on the card which will take place at the Taipei Basketball Gymnasium.

Way of the Dragon is organized by the Chinese Taipei MMA Association and has undergone several rebrandings. This will be the third professional fight card that the promotion has put on this year and there have also been several amateur tournaments and events.
