Da Un Jung has another fight booked. The Korean light heavyweight will be facing Dustin Jacoby at a UFC event on July 16th.
No venue is confirmed for the event which probably means it will be taking place at the Apex Centre in Las Vegas. Jung (15-2-1) will be looking to secure his third straight UFC win.
The 28 year old is undefeated since signing for the UFC in 2019 with four wins and a draw. But despite enjoying sustained success he remains unranked.
That will all chance if Jung wins his next fight because Jacoby (17-5-1) is currently #15 in the middleweight rankings. The Glory veteran has won five and drawn one since signing for the UFC for a the second time in 2020.
Jacoby’s first UFC stint was unsuccessful, the American lost two fights out of two. But he earned a second chance after impressing on Dana White’s Contender Series two years ago and has seized it with both hands.
Also on the card is a flyweight fight pitting Askar Askarov (14-1-1) against Alex Perez (24-6). The Russian will be looking to bounce back having suffered the first loss of his entire career at the hands of Kai Kara-France recently.
