According to reports in China a big MMA fight has been booked for ONE Friday Fights 28. The event is at Lumpinee Stadium on August 11th and the official fight card has not been released but it sounds like Dave Bangguigui will be fighting Sanlanggexi.
Bangguigui (9-1) is coming off a decision win over BJJ black belt Marcus Paulo Amaral at ONE Friday Fights 17. It was his first fight in nearly four years but the Filipino prospect is on a nine fight winning streak dating all the way back to 2016.
He faces a Chinese opponent who has also only been beaten once. Sanlanggexi (14-1) is the WLF interim strawweight champion. He holds a 2017 decision win over Jhaymie Gayman who, like Bangguigui, fights out of Baguio.
Only a handful of the winners from these weekly events at Lumpinee Stadium have gone on to sign ONE Championship contracts. But whoever emerges victorious from this encounter could be an immediate title contender in the strawweight division.

These cards tent to consist primarily of Muay Thai bouts and Friday’s looks to be no exception. In the flyweight division Kongsuk Fairtex faces Jaosuayai Sor Dechapan.
Kongsuk is the reigning Channel 7 lightweight champion and the former Lumpinee bantamweight and super bantamweight champion. Jaosuayai is coming off a highlight reel KO win over Phetsukumvit Boybangna at ONE Friday Fights 20.
