At Pancrase 311 the strawweight tournament will conclude. Emi Fujino faces Hyun-Ji Jang in the final of the competition which was set up to find a replacement for UFC bound former champion Viviane Araujo.
Fujino (24-11) scored a TKO win over Edna Oliveira in her semi final at Pancrase 308 after the Brazilian suffered a fractured wrist. The other bout was called off when Nori Date came in 2.45kgs over the strawweight limit.
Jang (3-2) won three fights in a row for AFC in Korea. But she is coming off a decision loss to Geli Bulaong in a flyweight title fight at URCC 77.
The event will also feature a bantamweight fight between Yuto Hokamura (12-8-2) and Saimon Oliveira (16-3). The Brazilian is a training partner of Rafael Silva who beat the Japanese fighter in a title bout at Pancrase 307.
Meanwhile flyweight Yusuke Ogikubo (11-9) has been matched with a South African for the second time in a row. He lost to Bokang Masunyane at Pancrase 307 and faces his compatriot Luthando Biko (6-2) in December.
