The UFC is heading to Riyadh on March 2nd. There are currently three fights confirmed for the card at the Riyadh Arena which does not look like it will be a pay per view.

The event is currently titled UFC Fight Night 238 although this is subject to change. In the flyweight division Muhammad Mokaev (11-0-0-1) has been matched with Alex Perez (24-7).

Mokaev won numerous titles as an amateur before turning pro in 2020. He is coming off a submission win over former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott at UFC 294 which saw him move up to #8 at 125lbs.

By contrast Perez is coming off back to back defeats. The American has been submitted in the opening round in his last two fights but remains at #7 in the rankings and one of those defeats came in a flyweight title fight.

Also on the card is a middleweight match between Eryk Anders and Jamie Pickett. Neither man’s name currently appears in the official 185lbs rankings.

Anders (15-8) has only won one out of his last four, and dropped a split decision to Jun Yong Park at UFC Vegas 55. Pickett (13-10) is on a four fight losing streak and his record of two wins from eight UFC fights ranks among the worst of any fighter currently on the roster.

The third fight currently on the card is in the lightweight division. Slovakia’s Ľudovít Klein (20-4-1) takes on Spaniard Joel Álvarez (20-3) in an all European clash.
