Four more matchups have been added to the UAE Warriors 7 card. Fighters from Lebanon, French Guiana, the Philippines, Tajikistan, Australia, Brazil, Iraq and Morocco will all be in action at the Mubadala Arena on July 5th.
In the welterweight division Jason Ponet (18-12-1-1) faces Ahmad Labban (7-2). The French fighter is a seasoned veteran while the man Lebanon challenged unsuccessfully for the welterweight strap at UAE Warriors 6.
Two bantamweight bouts were added to the card. Australia’s Trent Girdham (10-2) is also coming off an impressive win at UAE Warriors 6 and he has been matched with Moroccan Muay Thai specialist Hamza Bougamza (2-1).
In the other 135lbs addition Adamson Torbiso (2-2) from the Philippines faces Siyovush Gulmamadov (1-2). The former will be looking for his first win for the rebranded promotion after coming up short at Abu Dhabi Warriors 5.
The final matchup to be announced over the weekend sees Iraqi lightweight Rami Aziz (8-4) take on Brazilian Bruno Azeredo (12-9). The latter is coming off a submission win at UAE Warriors 6.
As previously announced Amin Ayoub rematches Youssef Wehbe at UAE Warriors 7 in a bout which will have the promotion’s vacant lightweight title on the line. The event will also feature a catchweight contest pitting Mohammad Fakhreddine against Jesse Taylor.
The card will also feature Chi Lewis Parry, Rolando Dy, Ahmed Labban, Dan Collins, Hussein Fakhir Abed, Jaures Dea, Kantharaj Agasa, Marcelo Pontes, Marcos Paulo Costa, Rey Nacionales, Bahcir Yammine, Alexandru Chitoran.
