UAE Warriors 25 will take place at the Etihad Arena on Friday. The full fight card is out and it will consist exclusively of fighters of African origin.
In the co-main event Jaures Dea (7-4) faces Sindile Manengela (8-6) in a featherweight fight. The former is a UAE Warriors veteran who will be representing Cameroon while the latter hails from South Africa and is making his promotional debut.
The card also features a bantamweight bout pitting Samir Faiddine (12-8) against Hicham Rachid (9-6). The former is based in France but representing Comoros while the latter is based in Spain but will be representing Morocco.
Also on the card is a middleweight bout between two fighters with very similar records. Egypt’s Eslam Syaha (11-2) goes up against Nigeria’s Ndidi Alonu (10-2).
This will be the first time that UAE Warriors has held a show at the Etihad Arena. The 18,000 capacity venue has become known as the UFC’s home in the Middle East having hosted numerous cards since the start of the pandemic.
UAE Warriors 25 will be broadcast on Fight Pass, previously events have been free to view on the promotion’s bespoke application. The card will have an African theme with every single fighter representing a country from the continent.
As previously announced welterweight’s Wisem Hammami and Shido Soto collide in the main event.
