After some delays, AFC 13 x MMC: Star Wars in Asia is set to happen on November 9th in Seoul. There will be ten kickboxing and MMA bouts on the card.

In the only co-promotion title bout, Jang Won Jun (4-3) and Yuan Chunbo (4-8) will square off for the bantamweight crown. Jang has been on a downward spiral as of late with three straight losses after winning his first four fights. Yuan is coming off two solid wins under the Legend FC banner.

The longest reigning kickboxing champion in promotional history, Noh Jae Gil, clashes with Yang Wurin in the main event. Noh has been on the sidelines for the past year contemplating retirement but will put that on hold to defend his title once again.

Meanwhile current Max FC champion Myung Hyun Man returns to the AFC cage to take on Wei Zhou in a special heavyweight kickboxing contest. While Zhou is making his first trip to South Korea, ‘The Iron Gentleman’ made his promotional debut at AFC 9 in late 2018 and vanquished Jairo Kusunoki in 40 seconds.

In addition to these special matchups, Kim Jae Young (23-13) and Oh Ho Taek (4-2-1) will look to earn a title shot in their particular weight divisions. Kim faces off against newcomer Luo Youlong in a middleweight tilt meanwhile Oh takes on debutant Huang Zhenwei in a lightweight bout.
