Double G 4 has been rescheduled for July 25th at KBS Arena Hall in Seoul. A featherweight tilt between Hong Jun Young and Kim Sang Won will be the main event with a title shot on the line.

Back at Double G 3 late last year, Hong (9-6) lost a lopsided decision to Azizbek Satibaldiev. The Kyrgyzstan fighter was scheduled to challenge for the featherweight title in March but the event was postponed due to the coronavirus, or Covid-19.

Hong will be handed another chance to secure himself a title shot next month. He has been matched with compatriot Kim Sang Won (6-3), with the winner promised a fight against Satibaldiev for the belt.

Won is a Korean Top Team product who has won his last four out of five. He is coming off a win at Brawl Intl 1 in March, beating experienced Japanese fighter Kuya Ito by first round TKO.

The co-main event will feature a catchweight bout between flamboyant striker Kevin Park (2-2) and Kyrgyzstan slugger Llimbek Toktogulov (6-3). The former is coming off a loss to Julio Cesar Neves at Battlefield FC 2 last summer while the latter is returning after an extended break.

Meanwhile Mongolian transplant Burenzorig Batmunkh (9-8) will face off against Team MAD prospect Ok Rae Yoon (11-3) with a lightweight title shot on the line. This is a rematch of their clash at Angel’s Fighting 5 in 2017, where Batmunkh took home a unanimous decision win.
