A featherweight fight has been added to the Pancrase 317 card. UFC veteran Issei Tamura faces Yuki Takahashi at Shinkiba Studio Coast on August 23rd.
As usual the promotion took to Twitter to announce the matchup:

Tamura (13-10) is best known for his brief stint with the UFC. He is a former Pancrase interim featherweight champion and knocked out Kazushi Sugiyama at Pancrase 308 last September.
Tamura had been scheduled to face Suguru Nii at Pancrase 313 in March. But that event was postponed indefinitely and instead he finds himself facing one of the top featherweight prospects on the roster.
Takahashi is riding a five fight winning streak that included a win over Nii. He was last seen in action at Pancrase 311 where he submitted Kaneaki Watanabe in the opening round.
As previously announced Yoshinori Horie will be in action at Pancrase 317. The UFC veteran has been booked to face Taichi Nakajima.
Also on the card is a flyweight bout between Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo. At lightweight Kosuke Kindaichi faces Sung Kwon Kim while strawweights Hiroaki Ijima and Yuta Miyazawa are set to scrap.
Pancrase 316 is set for the same venue on July 24th. It will be headlined by a lightweight fight between Yusuke Kasuya and Hiroto Uesako.
