Road to ONE 7 is set for Tokyo on February 22nd. The event will be headlined by a strawweight fight between Itsuki Hirata and Miku Nakamura and will showcase some up and coming Japanese fighters.

The main event at Shibuya O-East features Hirata (3-0) who was last seen in action at ONE: ‘Warrior’s Code’ last February. The 21 year old was undefeated as an amateur and has won three fights out of three for the promotion.

Her opponent is Miku Nakamura (3-3). She has never previously fought for ONE Championship and is coming off a majority decision loss to Miyuki Furusawa at Shooto 1220.

In the co-main event undefeated teenager Miyuki Furusawa (4-0) faces the experienced Takafumi Ato (10-10) The 18 year old made his debut in 2019 and has won four fights out of four for Shooto.

Another undefeated strawweight prospect on the card is Keito Yamakita (3-0) The 24 year old has won three out of three for Pancrase and has been matched with Shooto fighter Shuto Aki (5-2-1) here.

The card has been titled ‘Young Guns’ and is supposed to platform up and coming Japanese talent. There is an intriguing matchup in the lightweight division where Takuya Nagata (9-3-1) has been matched with Kazuki Kasai (5-1).

There are several ONE Warrior Series veterans on the card. Among them is flyweight Hikaru Yoshino (8-2) who has been matched with Tomohiro Hagino (12-7).

This is the seventh installment in the series, Road to ONE 6 was set for Bangkok last December but was cancelled due to Covid-19. The event will be shown live in Japan by Abema TV.
