A strawweight fight has been added to the ONE on Prime Video 3 card. Jeremy Miado faces Danial Williams at the Axiata Arena on October 22nd.
Miado (11-4) is coming off a fortuitous win at ONE: ‘X’. Opponent Lito Adiwang. tore his ACL midway through the second round and was unable to continue fighting.
But the Filipino is on a three fight winning streak. Prior to the match with Adiwang he had stopped Litao Miao twice in succession but two years separated the two fights.

Williams (6-1) has won three fights out of three for ONE Championship. In the aftermath of his latest victory the Australian actually called for a fight with Miado,
“Guys like Jeremy Miado excite me. I just like his style. I’m here to put on a show for the fans. The fans want to see action. I’m here to put on a show for the fans, and Miado is going to be the guy who’s going to give it to me.”
Both men tend to finish their fights inside the distance to Williams might have a point. The Australian is currently at #5 in the strawweight rankings and a win here would potentially put him within touching distance of a title shot.

As previously announced John Lineker will be making the first defence of his bantamweight belt at ONE on Prime Video 3. He has been booked to face fellow Brazilian Fabricio Andrad in a fight that will not headline the card.
Lineker is a UFC veteran who won the belt by knocking out Bibiano Fernandes earlier this year. Andrade only got his opportunity to fight for ONE Championship because he is based in Thailand and the promotion started using Bangkok as a base for its events during the pandemic.
But he has seized it with both hands, winning five fights out of five to establish himself as the #2 contender in the bantamweight division. By contrast Lineker made his name with the UFC where he was one of the most devastating flyweights on the roster ands won four fights out of four for ONE Championship.

Last weekend Xiong Jing Nan beat Angela Lee in their trilogy bout which headlined ONE on Prime Video 2. Both the previous events took place in Singapore and this will be the promotion’s first event in Kuala Lumpur since 2019.
