Korean flyweight Ji Yeon Kim will be in action at the end of the month. She received a call to face Antonina Shevchenko at the TUF 28 Finale in Las Vegas on November 30th after original opponent Ashlee Evans-Smith pulled out.
Ji Yeon (8-1) made her name fighting in Korea and Japan before signing with the UFC last year. She has won two fights out of three for the promotion and is coming off back to back split decision wins.
Shevchenko (6-0) is a multiple time kickboxing and Muay Thai champion who will be making her UFC debut having impressed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
The Kyrgyz / Peruvian flyweight broke the news about the change of opponent on twitter,
