John Wayne Parr‘s 2021 is not coming to the ideal conclusion. The Muay Thai legend has been hospitalized after contracting Covid-19.
He took to Instagram to share the bad news:

According to JWP he had ‘cough and fever two days’ but more worryingly he described how the Covid-19 had ‘attacked my heart giving me chest pains the last four days’. He says he will remain in hospital until given the all clear.
So not exactly a wild NYE celebration for JWP. He is expected to face Dan Hardy in a kickboxing or Muay Thai bout in 2022.
The 45 year old is still an active fighter and his daughter is following in her father’s footsteps, she recently captured a national boxing title. JWP has beaten around 150 opponent already so we are sure he will defeat Covid-19.
