The Battlefield FC 2 card has been bolstered by the addition of a match between two lightweights with very impressive records. Kaik Brito and Mateusz Rębecki hail from Brazil and Poland respectively where they have established themselves as top contenders.
Brito (12-1) has already won two titles in his native Brazil. The 22 year old appears to come from a Muay Thai background and will be competing in Asia for the first time on July 27th.
His opponent comes into this bout as the reigning lightweight champion with Polish promotion FEN. Rębecki (9-1) has slightly less experience than the Brazilian but both men have been in with some solid lightweights in their respective homelands.
The card features two notable light heavyweight bouts. In one Shannon Ritch rematches Wenbo Liu while Wagner Prado has been booked to face Doo Hwan Kim in the other.
The event will also feature several UFC veterans as Ben Wall faces Muhsin Corbbrey while Bryan Carraway takes on Raja Shippen. In the co-main event Will Brooks faces off with Abel Trujillo.
