A featherweight fight between Rikuto Shirakawa and Kotetsu Boku has been added to Rizin 25. The event is set for Osaka on November 21st and there are currently ten fights on the card.
Shirakawa (8-8-1) stopped Yuki Ohara at Deep 99 last Sunday and has been rewarded with a fast turnaround. He also featured at Rizin 22, getting finished late in the fight by Kyohei Hagiwara.
Boku (26-15-2) turned 43 earlier this year and is coming off a terrible run of results. The decision loss to Jin Aoi at Rizin 23 was the fourth straight defeat suffered by the former ONE Championship lightweight champion.
As previously announced Mikuru Asakura and Yutaka Saito will face off at Rizin 25 with the inaugural featherweight title on the line. In the bantamweight division Hiromasa Ougikubo has been matched with Kenta Takizawa.
Meanwhile former strawweight King of Pancrase Daichi Kitakata returns after a year long absence. He is moving up to flyweight and faces Zst 125lbs champion Tatsuki Saomoto.
