Marcus Buchecha has a new opponent at ONE 157. With Reug Reug injured the promotion has brought in fellow Brazilian Hugo Cunha to face him at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 20th.

Decorated black belt
Buchecha (2-0) is a decorated BJJ black belt who has made an immaculate start to his MMA career. He has won two ONE Championship fights out of two with both victories coming by way of first round submission.
Cunha (6-1) is also a BJJ black belt and also represented Brazil in wrestling. But his ONE Championship debut didn’t go according to plan, he dropped a split decision to Dustin Joynson and it wasn’t a fight that will live long in the memory.

Muay Thai titles
As previously announced Petchmorakot Petchyindee will defend his featherweight Muay Thai title against Jimmy Vienot at ONE 157. Meanwhile Prajanchay PKSaenchaigym will be making the first defence of his strawweight Muay Thai title against Joseph Lasiri.
The event consists predominantly of Muay Thai bouts and will feature the quarter finals of the flyweight Grand Prix. But two lightweight submission grappling bouts have been booked with Garry Tonon taking on Tye Ruotolo and Shinya Aoki going up against Kade Ruotolo.
The sole kickboxing bout currently on the card pits the hard hitting Rade Opacic against Guto Inocente. Also added to the event is an alternate bout for the flyweight Grand Prix with Panpayak Jitmuangnon taking on Josue Cruz.

Atomweight fight
Another atomweight fight has been added to the 157 card. Asha Roka faces Alyse Anderson at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 20th.
Roka is looking for the first win of her ONE Championship career. The SFL veteran has losses to Gina Iniong and Stamp Fairtex since signing for the promotion.
Anderson entered the atomweight Grand Prix last year. She took on Itsuki Hirata in the opening round but dropped a decision to the Japanese fighter who was one of the favourites for the tournament
