The ONE Fight Night 14 card appears to be complete. The final two bouts were announced this week with Maurice Abévi facing Blake Cooper in a lightweight fight.

Abevi (6-1) dropped a decision to Halil Amir at ONE Fight Night 9. There is no shame in losing to the undefeated Turkish fighter and he will be looking to bounce back in Singapore on September 30th.

Cooper (2-0) is relatively inexperienced but there are high hopes for the Hawaiian. That is because his brother, Ray Cooper III, was the PFL welterweight champion winning the tournament in 2021.

Also added to the card was a heavyweight fight. The all European affair pits Italy’s Mauro Cerilli (14-5) against England’s Paul Elliott (3-1-0-1) with the latter handed a reprieve when Martin Batur failed a drug test and his most recent defeat was changed to a no contest.

Interim title

As previously announced Stamp Fairtex will face Seo Hee Ham in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14. The  interim atomweight title fight will be on the line.

The belt has been introduced because regular champion Angela Lee is out of action and looks likely to retire. She has not fought since the tragic death of her sister, Victoria Lee but will be cageside in Singapore and is set to make an announcement about her future.

Stamp earned her shot at the belt by stopping Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10. She has also held the atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai titles.

Ham is the former Deep-Jewels 105lbs champion, Road FC 105lbs champion and Rizin 108lbs champion. She has spent much of her career competing in Japan and beaten the likes of Ayaka Hamasaki, Miyuu Yamamoto and Mina Kurobe.

Replacement opponent

Allycia Rodrigues will be replacing Jackie Buntan at ONE Fight Night 14, she is moving up in weight to challenge the strawweight Muay Thai champion. The Brazilian currently holds the atomweight Muay Thai title.

Buntan had been booked to rematch Sundell but she pulled out of the fight due to ‘family matters’ leaving the Swedish fighter without an opponent. That means Rodrigues can secure a second title in a different division but Sundell has never lost a ONE Championship fight.

Submission grappling

Another title fight is on the ONE Fight Night 14 card. Danielle Kelly and Jessa Khan will rematch with the inaugural atomweight submission grappling title on the line.

Kelly and Khan first went head to head in 2021. The Cambodian/American claimed a decision win that day but it is her opponent who has gone on to enjoy success with ONE Championship.

Kelly has won three and drawn one of her four bouts for the promotion. Meanwhile Khan has yet to make her ONE Championship debut having seen several matches fall through.

Bantamweight bout

The card for ONE Fight Night 14 has also been boosted with the addition of another big bout. This time it is bantamweights who will collide with John Lineker taking on Stephen Loman.

Lineker is ranked #1 while Loman is ranked #2. Under normal circumstances this would be a title eliminator but champion Fabricio Andrade is tied up with a shot at the kickboxing belt and already beat the Brazilian convincingly.

Sweet science

The card will also feature a boxing match between two strawweights wearing MMA gloves. Nat Wondergirl will face Xiong Jing Nan with  spinning back fists allowed under the ruleset.

Xiong Jing Nan is the reigning strawweight champion in MMA. Meanwhile Wondergirl is coming off a loss to Lisa Kyriacou at ONE Friday Fights 26.
