Miki Motono has suffered a knee injury. The reigning Deep-Jewels strawweight champion is no longer defending her belt against Seika Izawa next month.

That title rematch had been set to headline Deep-Jewels 32. But in the wake of Motono’s withdrawal Izawa has instead been booked to face Megumi Sugimoto in a grappling match that is set for 119lbs.

The fight between Motomo and Izawa is now scheduled to take place at Deep-Jewels 33 in May. A flyweight fight between Mikiko Shimizu and Yukari Nabe will serve as the Deep-Jewels 32 headliner.

The event is set for the  Korakuen Hall on March 7th and will feature the quarter finals of the Deep-Jewels atomweight Grand Prix. In the first round Hikaru Aono faces Emi Sato , Sakura Mori takes on Aya Murakami, Si Woo Park goes up against  Mizuki Oshiro and Emi Tomimatsu meets Saori Oshima.
