Deep: ‘Tokyo Impact 2019’ is set for Shinjuku on March 16th and will be headlined by a heavyweight match between two Japanese veterans. Seigo Mizuguchi faces Kiyoshi Kuwabara in a matchup of two men with 20 years of professional experience between them.
Mizuguchi (13-17) made his pro debut in 2006 and, with the exception of one bout, has spent his entire career competing for Deep. The 43 year old faces Kuwabara (11-11), who is six years his junior and a former Gladiator middleweight champion.
The co-main event features another promotional veteran. Luiz Andrade I (19-19-6) has fought 36 times for Deep but faces a tough test against Ryuji Takashio (4-2) who is a decade younger and currently riding a four fight winning streak.
Next up for the promotion is Deep-Jewels 23 on March 7th in Tokyo followed by Deep 88 the following night.
