A second title fight has been added to the Deep 97 card. Mizuki Oshiro will face Saori Oshima at the Korakuen Hall on September 20th with the vacant 97lbs title on the line.

The belt was previously the property of Satoko Shinashi. But the 44 year old has vacated the title as she feels it is impossible to put together a proper training camp with Covid-19 restrictions in place.

Oshiro (2–1) and Oshima (2-1) both have identical records. The former holds a stoppage win over Shinashi. She finished the champion in a non title bout at Deep 93 last year.

Also added to the card this week was a lightweight bout pitting Daisuke Nakamura (28-19-1) against Tatsunao Nagakura (14-9). The former returns to the sport after a four year absence, although he has been competing regularly in submission grappling.

As previously announced Satoshi Yamasu will be putting his featherweight title on the line in the main event of Deep 97. The 30 year old makes the second defense of his belt against Juntaro Ushiku.

The card will also feature a flyweight contest. ONE Championship veteran Kosuke Suzuki has been matched with former boxer Yamato Fujita.
