Nasrat Haqparast will be back in action in February. The Afghan lightweight has been booked to face veteran John Makdessi at an event that doesn’t have a location or a name at present.

Haqparast (13-4) suffered a setback at UFC 266 when he dropped a decision to Dan Hooker. He won’t have to wait too long for the opportunity to bounce back from his third defeat inside the octagon.

Makdessi (18-7) has been on the UFC roster since 2010. The 36 year old has won four out of his last five fights heading into this contest.

As previously announced the event will feature the return of Mark Striegl. Having suffered some nasty looking injuries on his UFC debut the Fil-Am featherweight will be fighting Chas Skelly on February 19th.
