Pancrase 315 had been set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on May 31st with a card that featured fighters from both inside and outside Japan. The promotion was tweeting about the upcoming fights regularly this week.

But this morning Pancrase announced on Twitter that the event was postponed:

Pancrase 313 and 314 were also postponed and this card will be the third in a row that the Japanese promotion has had to abandon due to the coronavirus, or Covid-19, crisis.

Pancrase 316 is still on the schedule. That event is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on July 5th and there are currently eight fights on the card.

Some of the matches from Pancrase 315 could end up taking place on July 5th. The bouts announced for the cancelled card include a lightweight title fight between Genpei Hayashi and Tatsuya Saika.

Among the other bouts booked for Pancrase 315 was a flyweight match between Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo. Meanwhile in the lightweight division Takashi Matsuoka faces Koshi Matsumoto.
