Pingyuan Liu will be looking to extend his perfect UFC record in Sacramento next month. The Chinese bantamweight has been booked to face Jonathan Martinez at Golden 1 Center on July 13th.
Liu (15-4) will be fighting on U.S. soil for the first time at UFC on ESPN+ 13. His previous two wins inside the Octagon occurred in Germany and China and he comes into this contest riding a ten fight winning streak.
Martinez (10-2) is 1-1 in his UFC career. He is coming off a decision win over a Chinese opponent at UFC 234 in February and will be looking to secure his second straight victory at the expense of the former WLF champion.
The card will feature the returning Urijah Faber. He has come out of retirement to face Ricky Simón in a bantamweight clash that takes place in his adopted hometown.
Faber is one of several fighters from Alpha Male on the card. The camp is based in Sacramento.
