Thailand’s most popular mixed martial artists will both be in action at ONE: ‘Clash of Legends’. Shannon Wiratchai and Rika Ishige will face Tae Kyun Kim and Nou Srey Pov respectively in Bangkok on February 16th.
Wiratchai (9-3-0-1) enjoyed mixed fortunes in 2018. He stopped Rahul Raja with a highlight reel KO at the start of the year but was finished by Shinya Aoki last July, taking a lot of punishment in the process.
The 30 year old lightweight has been fighting for ONE Championship since 2012 and this will be his 12th fight for the promotion. Hailing from Korea, Kim (4-0) has fought three times for Top FC and is coming off a split decision win at Double G FC 1.
Atomweight Ishige (4-2) will be looking for her second straight ONE Championship win when she faces Srey Pov. The Cambodian is a decorated Kun Khmer champion but will be making her MMA debut at the Impact Arena.
As previously announced the event will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Han Zi Hao. The event will feature former ‘Fighter of the Year’ winner Kongsak PKSaenchaigym who faces Alaverdi Ramazanov in a bantamweight Muay Thai match.
