Pancrase 315 is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on May 31st. The fight card appears to be going ahead despite the current Covid-19 or coronavirus, situation in Tokyo.
The latest bout to be added to the card involves a foreign fighter. Rilley Dutro will be flying in from Hawaii to face Taiki Akiba in a flyweight fight.
Dutro (14-5) is coming off a first round stoppage win over Toru Ogawa at Pancrase 308. The former PXC flyweight champion had dropped a decision to Shohei Masumizu on his promotional debut at Pancrase 303.
Akiba (10-9-1) will be looking to snap a two fight losing skid. The 30 year old was outpointed by Luthando Biko at Pancrase 311 and suffered a stoppage loss at the hands of Kiyotaka Shimizu at Road to ONE: ‘Century’.
As previously announced Pancrase 315 will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between Genpei Hayashi and Tatsuya Saika. The two were originally set to face off on the cancelled Pancrase 313 card.
Meanwhile Pancrase 315 will feature a flyweight fight pitting top contenders Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo together. In the lightweight division Takashi Matsuoka faces Koshi Matsumoto.
Another lightweight match pits Kosuke Kindaichi against Sung Kwon Kim. In the strawweight division Teppei Maeyama has been matched with Tatsuki Ozaki while Hiroaki Ijima takes on Yuta Miyazawa.
