Rodtang Jitmuangnon is getting married! The ONE Championship star has decided to tie the not and his fiance is also a successful Muay Thai fighter.

At one time Rodtang and Stamp Fairtex were the most famous couple in Muay Thai. But that relationship did not stand the test of time and the two ONE Championship title winners have both moved on.

Rodtang’s new girlfriend is also a successful fighter although she is not quite as successful as her sister. Aida Looksaikongdin is currently ranked #6 at flyweight by the WMO.

With neither fighter having ever acknowledged the relationship on social media the news that they were getting married came as something of a surprise:

Fighting family

Aida Looksaikongdin has fought for Thai Fight and RWS. She is not quite as famous as her sister, Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin, who is a former WPMF and WMO world champion.

Her younger brother is also a successful boxer. Sangarthit Looksaikongdin is only 19 but already holds a record of 16-0 and is the WBA Asia super lightweight champion.

Footage of Rodtang and Sangarthit basically taking it in turns to punch each other in the head during a sparring session went viral a couple of year ago:

Meteoric rise

Rodtang was already a successful fighter on the stadium scene in Bangkok when he signed with ONE Championship. But he had only picked up two titles, with Max Muay Thai and at the Siam Omnoi Stadium.

Rodtang would get a shot at the Radjadamnern super featherweight title a few months after making his ONE Championship debut but he came up short against Gaonar PKSanechaigym. Competing inside a cage with the small gloves he has been unstoppable.

Rodtang has won 13 fights out of 13 for ONE Championship competing under kickboxing and Muay Thai rules. His only loss came in a mixed rules fight with Demetrious Johnson.

Next up for the 25 year old, who is currently a monk, is a flyweight kickboxing title fight against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE Fight Night 8. At some stage he will need to find enough time in his schedule in order to get married.
