A strawweight fight has been added to the Shooto 1123 card. Ryohei Kurosawa will take on Masayoshi Kato at the Korakuen Hall on November 23rd.
Kurosawa (13-2) is coming off a win over Takamasa Kiuchi at Shooto 0801. He has won five out of his last six fights for the promotion.
Kato (12-10-2) returns after an absence of nearly 18 months. He also scored a first round finish in his last contest, submitting Shinnosuke Ishihara at Shooto 0630.
The other fight added to the card is also in the strawweight division. Jo Arai (5-9-2) has been matched with Yuya Tsumura (1-2-1).
As previously announced Japanese veteran Takafumi Otsuka will make his promotional debut against Tatsuya Ando in a bantamweight bout on November 23rd.
Meanwhile Megumi Sugimoto will face Satomi Takano in a catchweight contest at Shooto 1123. The event will also feature a flyweight fight between seasoned veteran Kiyotaka Shimizu and undefeated prospect Tatsuro Taira.
In the featherweight division Yoshizumi Kobayashi faces Takahiro Ichijo and Keita Ishibashi takes on Akuri Ronda.
