Turkish boxing sensation Sabriye Sengul will be back in action at UAE Warriors 40. She will be looking to get her MMA career back on track in Abu Dhabi and has been matched with Mena Mohamed Abdallah in a flyweight fight.
Sengul (3-4) was an amateur boxing champion in her native Turkey and won ISKA and IKU titles in kickboxing. In 2018 she signed with Bellator and won a kickboxing bout on her debut.
The following year she transitioned to MMA but has had mixed success. Sengul has won just three of her seven fights in the sport and comes into this contest after back to back defeats.
She has still retained a huge fan following in her native Turkey with 404,000 followers on Instagram. By contrast her Egyptian opponent does not seem to have a presence on social media.
Mena Mohamed Abdalah will be making her MMA debut but she does have some experience of kickboxing. Four years ago she won a fight in her native Egypt.
