UFC 259 is set for March 6th. The event does not have an official location yet but it will feature a bantamweight fight between Song Yadong and Kyler Philipps.
Yadong (16-4-1) is undefeated inside the octagon with five wins and one draw from his six fights. He is coming off a decision win over Marlon Vera at UFC Jacksonville that earned him the #1 spot in the bantamweight rankings.
Philipps (8-1) has won two fights out of two for the UFC. He competed on TUF 7 and the only loss of his career came at the hands of Deep bantamweight champion Victory Henry.
The event will be headlined by a fighter who made his name fighting in China. Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (20-0) will be moving up a division to challenge Jan Błachowicz (27-8) for his light heavyweight title.
There are two more title fights on the card. Amanda Nunes (20-4) will be defending her featherweight title against Megan Anderson (10-4) while Petr Yan (15-1) puts his bantamweight belt on the line against Aljamain Sterling (19-3)
