A welterweight fight between Souhil Tahiri and Youssef Wehbe has been added to the UAE Warriors 21 card. The event is set for the Jiu Jitsu Arena on September 3rd.

Wehbe (8-8-0-2) returns after missing all of 2020. He has only won two of his last six fights and will be looking to get his career back on track in Abu Dhabi.

Tahiri (4-3-1) was stopped in the second round by Bruno Carvalho at UAE Warriors 18. That loss snapped a two fight winning streak for the Frenchman.

As previously announced Mohammad Yahya has been matched with Yazid Chouchane in the UAE Warriors 21 headliner. The fight will have the promotion’s inaugural Arabia lightweight title on the line.

The Arabia welterweight title will also be on the line on September 3rd. Abdulla Al Bousheiri faces Badreddine Diani for the newly minted belt.

UAE Warriors 22 is set for the same venue the following night. It will feature a bantamweight bout between Rany Saadeh and Shawn Bunch.

The promotion typically holds events on back to back nights. The Friday night card will be exclusively for fighters of Arabian descent while the Saturday night card is open to anyone.
