Tatsumitsu Wada won’t have to wait long for his postponed flyweight Grand Prix quarter final. He has been booked to face Cuban newcomer Gustavo Balart at ONE: ‘Roots of Honor’ next week.

Wada has originally been booked to face Ivanildo Delfino at ONE: ‘A New Era’. But the Brazilian pulled out of that bout with an injury meaning there is one semi final spot in the tournament still waiting to be filled.

In Delfino’s place steps Balart (8-1). He is a Greco Roman wrestler who won gold at the Pan American Games in 2011 before going on to establish himself as a top Flyweight contender with Titan FC.

The winner of this fight will face former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson in the semi final. On the other side of the bracket Kairat Akhmetov goes up against Danny Kingad.
