There has been a change to the Pancrase 317 card. With Sung Kwon Kim presumably unable to enter the country Tatsuya Tomozane has stepped in to face Kosuke Kindaichi at Shinkiba Studio Coast on August 23rd.

As usual the promotion took to Twitter to announce the matchup:

For Tomozane (10-4-1) this will be a quick turnaround. He was in action at Ismos 1 last weekend, fighting to a draw with Yuto Kimura at an event that had no decisions or judges.

That result spoiled a seven fight winning streak for the 29 year old. He will be looking for his second victory for the promotion after defeating Yuki Yamamoto by decision at Pancrase 305.

Kindaichi (9-2-2) is riding a five fight winning streak dating all the way back to 2011. He took an eight year break from MMA but remains undefeated since his return and the winner will have a good chance of breaking into the official Pancrase lightweight rankings.

As previously announced Yoshinori Horie will be in action at Pancrase 317. The UFC veteran has been booked to face Taichi Nakajima in a featherweight title eliminator.

Also on the card is a flyweight bout between Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo. At featherweight Issei Tamura faces Yuki Takahashi while strawweights Hiroaki Ijima and Yuta Miyazawa are set to scrap.
