Tenshin Nasukawa showcased a brand new hairstyle but there was no change in the outcome as he beat Masahiko Suzuki at Rise World Series yesterday.
It was his 41st win in a row in Japan, since turning pro he has never lost a fight there. This time Suzuki did take Tenshin the distance, he was unable to score one of his trademark spinning kick KOs.
We might not be seeing Tenshin in many more kickboxing bouts. He plans to switch codes and focus on the sweet science of professional boxing once his Rise contract ends.
Tenshin’s first foray into the world of professional boxing did not go too well. He was stopped by Floyd Mayweather in the first round at Rizin 14.
Fortunately that won’t go down on his professional record. So Tenshin will start with a clean slate, but will he be able to replicate his kickboxing success in
