He’s back bitches! Teruto Ishihara will be looking to snap his long losing streak at Fury FC 52 in Houston this weekend when he faces Vinicius Zani.
After winning at UFC Fight Night 152 and extending his unbeaten streak in the octagon to three fights Teruto Ishihara famously tweeted a photo of him on a bed with four girls captioned ‘I love my Salt Lake City Bitches!!!!’.
It is possible something was lost in translation but Ishihara has not had much to celebrate since, losing seven of his next eight fights. He was cut by the UFC in 2019 but has not won since and is coming off a submission loss to Levi Mowles at Fury FC 48.
His record stands at 10-9-2 and he will be hoping to turn his career around when he faces Zani. The Brazilian is at a similar stage in his career and is coming off an unsuccessful Bellator stint that left his standing at 11-7.
Mowles (15-4) will be back in action too. His reward for beating Ishihara is a shot at the vacant bantamweight belt, the local favourite faces Bellator veteran Johnny Campbell (21-13).
