There are some big stars in Asian MMA but these guys bring much more to the table than just their fighting skills. They are some of the hottest hunks you will find anywhere and have an appeal that goes well beyond the sporting realm.
Here are five of the hottest guys on the Asian MMA scene:
1. Mark Striegl
Mark Striegl has fought for both ONE Championship and the UFC. This Filipino American hunk combines his fighting commitments with a successful modelling career and, as this steamy pic shows, he loves to work out.
Mark recently underwent surgery after suffering a loss on his UFC debut. But fortunately it doesn’t seem to have spoiled the 33 year old’s simmering good looks.
2 Myung Ho Bae
Myung Ho Bae is a professional fighter and underwear model and he has been successful in both careers. The 34 year old is a former Legend FC welterweight champion and AFC welterweight champion who is now on the ONE Championship roster.
Korea seems to produce some of MMA’s most eligible male fighters, Yoshihiro Akiyama is another favourite who features further down this list. But Bae will certainly not have to look too far to find ladies willing to be his, err, Bae.
3. Sage Northcutt
Sage Northcutt was the UFC poster boy before switching promotions to sign with the ONE Championship He had his jaw broken on his debut in Asia but it certainly hasn’t spoiled the 25 year old’s ‘boy next door’ looks.
Sage is always in incredible shape and this clean cut, well spoken American has already made a big impression in Asia. It has been over two years since we last saw this certified hunk in action and hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer.
4. Yoshihiro Akiyama
No prizes for guessing why they call him ‘Sexyama’. The 46 year old’s appearance seems to defy age and the Japanese/Korean hunk has been wowing female MMA fans for over a decade.
Yoshihiro Akiyama was once disqualified from a fight for greasing his body up. It is not allowed in MMA but who can blame the photogenic UFC and ONE Championship veteran for wanting to look his best?
5. Kai Asakura
The 27 year old is just as well known for his exploits as a YouTuber as he is for his prowess inside the ring. A former Rizin bantamweight champion, Kai Asakura and his brother are two of the biggest stars in Japanese MMA.
Kai is the favourite for the Rizin bantamweight Grand Prix which got underway last month. His YouTube channel features content such as him confronting litter bugs on the streets of Tokyo. What’s not to like about that?
