Tom Santos faces Katsushi Sugiyama at Pancrase 308
A lightweight bout has been added to the Pancrase 308 card. It pits Brazil’s Tom Santos against Katsushi Sugiyama with the Japanese fighter looking to make it back to back wins.
As usual the promotion took to Twitter to announce the matchup:

The fight pits together two lightweights whose careers appear to be moving in opposite directions. Saika (5-1) scored his third straight first round stoppage win at Pancrase 307.
By contrast Santos (11-9) is a former Pancrase lightweight title challenger but has lost three in a row. His most recent loss came at the hands of Kyung Po Kim in a title bout at Heat 45 last month.
The Pancrase 308 card was also bolstered by the addition of a second Strawweight Grand Prix semi final. Nori Date (3-3) will face Hyun Ji Jang (3-2) with a title shot on the line for the winner.
Pancrase 308 is set for Studio Coast and will see Emi Fujino taking on Edna Oliveira in the other Strawweight Grand Prix semi final. The card also features a flyweight fight between Toru Ogawa and Riley Dutro.
