Anshul Jubli remains undefeated after a submission win over Mohammad Mahmoudian at Matrix Fight Night 6. The Indian bantamweight secured an arm triangle choke to improve his record to 5-0.
It was Mahmoudian who pushed for the takedown, securing a body lock but ending up on his back. From there Jubli quickly moved into mount and then secured side control before locking in the arm triangle choke.
He has won five fights out of five for MFN and looks to be one of the top prospects coming out of India. By contrast Mahmoudian drops to 2-2 after tasting defeat in his first fight outside of Iran.
