The URCC, the longest running MMA promotion in the Philippines, is branching into South Korea.

URCC Korea 1 is slated for June 22nd at the Songdo Convention Center in Incheon. One fight is already confirmed, a bantamweight bout pitting Yang Sung-Un against Moon Gook-Hwan.

Incheon International Martial Arts Federation president Won Goo-Yeon is spearheading this new collaborative effort. He hopes the city will host regular URCC events starting with this show.

Sung-Un (1-1) will face Moon Gook-Hwan (0-2) on this card. No other fights have been announced but Korean fighters to have featured for the URCC include 125lbs champion Seo Ji-Yeon and former 145lbs titleholder Lee Do-Gyeom.

Two Road FC veterans are also booked for URCC Korea 1. Middleweight Jeon Uh-Jin (3-4) and bantamweight So Jae-Hyun (10-14) will both feature although neither has an opponent at the time of writing.

There is expected to be a title fight on this card and rumours suggest the lineup will be feature several Korean veterans.
