We are just 11 days away from UFC 275 and some of the fighters are already in Singapore. Valentina Shevchenko has already found herself a local camp and was pictured at Evolve MMA with Ritu Phogat.
Phogat is one of the top contenders in ONE Championship’s atomweight division while Shevchenko is the reigning UFC flyweight champion. The Indian shared a photo of them together on her Instagram just now:

Entire team
Shevchenko is set to face Taila Santos at UFC 275. She will be looking to successfully defend her flyweight title for the seventh time in a fight which will serve as the co-main event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
She and her sister have both spent a lot of time training at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. But for this fight Shevchenko has been preparing at the Smiley Gym in Florida.
She tends to bring her entire coaching team with her wherever she goes and appears to have her long term trainer Pavel Fedotov, who also happens to be married to her sister, alongside her in Singapore. If she needs a new sparring partner Phogat is only a little bit lighter but in these photos it looks like she is sparring with her sister:

Dual nationality
Shevchenko is no stranger to fighting in South East Asia. Before she became one of the best female mixed martial artists on the planet she was a successful Muay Thai fighter who competed numerous times in Phuket and Bangkok.
Also accompanying the Shevchenko sisters to Singapore is Joselyne Edwards. The Panamanian is facing Hong Kong’s Ramona Pascual in a featherweight fight at UFC 275.
Although the Shevchenko sisters represent Kyrgyzstan when they fight both have Peruvian citizenship and speak fluent Spanish. So Edwards should fit in nicely with their travelling training camp.

Top facility
Evolve MMA is one of the most sophisticated facilities in the world. It seems that several fighters from the UFC 275 card will be taking advantage of the state of the art equipment at the Singapore based chain of martial arts schools.
Phuket has also proved a popular destination for fighters competing at UFC 275. Jiri Prochazka and Weili Zhang are currently at Bang Tao Muay Thai there while Danaa Batgerel is at Tiger Muay Thai.
The fighters will need to get used to competing in the early hours of the morning. UFC 275 is scheduled to get underway at 6am local time so anyone competing on the card will need to get their body clock adjusted to the unusual start time.
