Vitor Belfort never got to make his ONE Championship debut. The Pride veteran had to settle for a boxing match with Oscar de la Hoya instead but the 44 year old’s son is making waves in a completely different sport.

Vitor’s son Davi Belfort is a high school football star who looks like he could be a future NFL quarterback. His dad couldn’t be prouder and recently posted this clip on Instagram:

Davi’s first high school game couldn’t have gone much better. He led the Cardinal Newman Crusaders to a 55-0 win over local rivals King’s Academy.

The 16 year old has already attracted interest from college teams and received multiple offers, including one from the University of Alabama. It is no surprise that Davi is in demand, last year Vitor told TMZ that his son was the number one quarterback in the nation at his age.

Vitor is set to take on ‘The Golden Boy’ at the famous Staples Centre in Los Angeles on September 11th (local time). The Cardinal Newman Crusaders have a match the previous day so it promises to be a busy weekend for the Belfort family.
