Once again ONE Championship lost a headliner to Covid-19 this week. This time it was John Lineker who has tested positive.
It means the bantamweight title fight with Bibiano Fernandes at ONE: ‘Bad Blood’ is off. The champion’s long wait for a fight looks set to continue even further.
The interim heavyweight title fight between Anatoly Malykhin and Kirill Grishenko will now serve as the headliner. The two were originally set to face off at ONE: ‘Only the Brave’ but the fight had to be postponed due to Covid-19 protocols.
Elsewhere Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke faces Danial Williams in a strawweight fight between two Muay Thai specialists. In the atomweight division Mei Yamaguchi has been matched with Jihin Radzuan, the former stepping in as a late replacement for Jenelyn Olsim.
