The flyweight title will be on the line at Deep 103. The promotion will finally be crowning a replacement for Makoto Takahashi at the Korakuen Hall on September 23rd.
Interim champion Yamato Fujita will face off against Yuki Ito. At stake will be the flyweight strap that Takahashi vacated in order to sign with Deep last year.
Ito (8-1) is coming off back to back wins in 2021. He submitted Tomohiro Adaniya at Deep 101 and knocked out Kohei Sugiyama at Rizin 27.
Fujita (7-3) has won his last five. He was crowned interim flyweight champion after stopping Kazuki Shibuya with a soccer kick at Deep 100.
Deep 102 took place at the same venue earlier this month. Featherweight champion Juntaro Ushiku beat Daisuke Nakamura by split decision in the main event.
